What Makes Sling TV Different?
Sling TV is comparable to large streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc., but really it’s direct competitors are YouTube TV, AT&T, and Philo.
Sling is essentially a cable streaming service that allows you to watch live and on-demand channels, except 1.) you don’t need a satellite dish, and 2.) you can stream Sling through a media streamer like Apple television or Roku.
Sling’s free trial is also essentially shorter than what others offer. Hulu and Netflix, for example, provide a 1-month free trial.
YouTube television also provides a 1-month free trial, while Philo only offers a two-day free trial.
Most of all, Sling’s free trial allows you to even try their highest package plan, which is unlike what most cable & streaming services offer in their free trial service.
It’s also worth noting that Sling’s price is relatively lower than most cable services. While AT&T and Philo price their services at $20 and $15 per month respectively, both these cable services don’t offer sports channels such as ESPN and Fox Sports.
One reason for Sling is so cheap is because it carries only a few local channels, although this may appear as a downside to some.
Is It Hard to Find Shows to Watch?
Sling’s interface is very much similar to Netflix, so you won’t have as much difficulty scrolling through the channels compared to traditional cable service.
One way to test this out for yourself is to try their seven-day free trial. After all, a 7-day free trial should give you plenty of time to see whether you want to proceed for their Orange or Blue package plan.
Sling’s interface also shows thumbnail images of shows and on-demand content. In addition, you can choose your favorite shows and will make up one of the categories in your grid for easier access.

Can I Cancel My Free Sling Trial Subscription?
After using Sling’s 7-day free trial and decide you want to stop using their service, here are the steps to take to cancel your subscription:

2: Head over to the Account Settings Page
3: You’ll find “Cancel Subscription” under Communication Preferences. Once you do, click on “Cancel Subscription.”
4: You’ll be prompted with a message box asking you your reason for cancelling.
5: Select “Cancel My Subscription.”
6: Sling will send you a confirmation email and let you know how to restart your service if you want to
Can I Subscribe to Sling’s Free Trial More than Once?
Sling’s 7-day free trial is a one-time service offer. After you’ve used your free trial, you won’t be able to have access to any more free trials.
Is Sling TV Worth It?
For a budget-friendly price and access to a vast amount of live channel extras and add-ons to choose from, we can say Sling is worth the price.
Sling strikes a fair deal and allows you to customize your subscription that most cable services don’t offer. Not to mention it’s inclusive of DVR and hosts compatibility for a lot of streaming devices.
We feel Sling would be a great fit for a lot of people, but we suggest taking advantage of the Sling TV free trial offer, so you get a better feel of the channels from your own perspective.
